Road Trip

Well since we both had the weekend off, it called for a last minute road trip! We debated for two hours when I got home from work whether we should go somewhere or not, and we finally decided to leave at about 5:00. We decided to take the trip to Moab mainly to go to the Monticello temple to help us with our goal to go to every temple in Utah, and the World! That will only happen if we strike rich somehow! We made reservations for a cute little cabin just outside Moab. It consisted of a bunk bed and a mini fridge. The cabin website said "These cabins are air conditioned and heated for your comfort." And we get there and there is a little space heater, I thought it was kind of funny, but it actually worked really good! We took are little portable DVD player with the computer speakers and watched a movie and bought some popcorn at the little convenient store and popped it in their microwave. Wow, it was the life! We figured we could make it to Monticello by 10:00 am but we ended up sleeping until 9:30! Oops! We made it there by noon though! It was a cute little temple in the middle of nowhere! It was beautiful though! We then made our way back to Arches National Park since I had never been there! We didn't have much time so we just made a few little hikes, but it sure was pretty, and well worth it! We then headed back home we got just between Salina and Green River and it started to snow pretty bad. We ended up stuck at a standstill on I-70 for an hour because of a wreck or something in front of us. It was a good thing we ended up taking the truck with four-wheel drive! Pictures to come..our digital camera broke, so we use disposable cameras, so we have to wait for those to get developed!
