St. George

We took our first road trip as a family down to St. George since both Alan and I had a weekend off together.

We went on a nice little walk on a trail. It was a little rocky for the stroller though. Had to carry the stroller and baby Griff through some of it.

Griffin slept through the whole thing!

 

We enjoyed our time in the sunshine!

Griffin was so good in the car, mostly slept the whole time.

Christmas

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care.

Alan had to work from 5 am to 5 pm on Christmas Day. We had an enjoyable low key Christmas.

Our best Christmas gift this year of course was baby Griff.

3 months

Griffin turned 3 months old on December 24th.

Likes:

Falling asleep in car seat while we drive

Laying on the floor and kicking his legs

Hates:

Trying to fall asleep when he is tired

He is in size 1 diapers

Wears 3 month size clothes

One of Alan's nurse coworker gave us this adorable hat.

Zoo lights

We went to the zoo lights last night with some friends.

 It has been such a warm December! We bundled Griffin up and he slept through the whole thing.

There were only a few actual animals that we could see but the light animals were pretty neat!

Baby Blessing

 

Griffin was blessed by Alan on November 9th. It was such a wonderful blessing.

 

We are so grateful for all the many friends and family that attended his special day!

Happy Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving morning 5k with Alan and my dad. My dad and I enjoyed a brisk walk while Alan ran it. Alan had worked the night before and had to work Thanksgiving night.

We enjoyed a wonderful thanksgiving at my parents house. 

We are so grateful for Griffin, so worth the wait!

Stats of our little guy

Height: 23 inches (48th percentile)

Weight: 10 lbs 3 oz (6th percentile)

Head: 14 inches (2nd percentile)

 He was busy looking at his whale mobile

He was a champ for his shots. Cried for a couple of seconds and slept most of the day.

Tried wearing Griffin in the wrap for the first time today. It will be nice to be able to do things and hold him at the same time!

Love snuggles with my little man, what else could make this day better? Warm chocolate chip cookies made by my man.
