We got to Lake Tahoe Friday evening and just went and looked at the Lake, went to dinner went back to our hotel and chilled in the hot tub. The next morning we rented bikes and took a ride down a nice paved path. We stopped at this cool stream profile. They had built a little building underground so you could see the fish in the stream. It was pretty neat.

We rode our bikes to this lovely beach and had our lunch.

After our bike ride we went for a little ride to Emerald Bay. On the way we saw a Momma Bear and her cub right by the road, right where we were previously riding our bikes! So glad we didn't run into them when we were on the bikes!
Emerald Bay

We took a Gondola Ride up the mountain. Basically an inclosed ski lift. The views were beautiful from the top. I was scared out of my mind though since I hate heights!

Sunday we went to church then just relaxed in the lake and on the beach!

On our ride home we passed this tree that has shoes hanging from it everywhere! Man it stunk though!

Unfortunately we almost had a blow out with our tire. But luckily Alan noticed it before anything happened. We drove on it for awhile just going really slow then stopped at a tire shop in the middle of nowhere. Of course they didn't have the tire we needed. So we put on the donut and drove another 80 miles to Ely. Where luckily a shop had the tire we needed.
Right at the Utah border. We stopped and picked up a hitchhiker. We do this every once in awhile if they don't look to awful! He had a sign to go to Delta, but when he found out we were going by I-15 he had us drop him off at the Flying J in Nephi. Hitchhikers are so fascinating to me, and luckily this one didn't stink, and slept most of the way. Just kind of awkward is all!
